SoundSpa® is rated out of 5 by 148.Rated 3 out of 5 by ewoz24 from No Bird Sounds I wanted bird sounds, and it didn’t have bird sounds even though the picture shows rainforest... which has bird sounds. It didn’t come with rainforest.Date published: 2019-05-07Rated 2 out of 5 by KimP55 from Great if it stayed on all night I’ve had this for two years and after six months it’s hard to start and keep on . Turns off randomly . Would be great if it just stayed on .Date published: 2019-04-22Rated 4 out of 5 by Blondie325 from Nice Small Size I like all the sounds, but so far they are not "putting me to sleep". My hearing is exceptional and I usually can't fall asleep unless it is completely quiet so I think it will take some time for this machine to lull me to sleep, but I'm optimistic.Date published: 2019-04-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Meem from Heat I bought this a week ago and my husband used it right away.Date published: 2019-01-23Rated 4 out of 5 by Steve 5 from Works great, however....... I purchased this machine to replace the same model that I had purchased several years ago. PRO: Small footprint and low profile. Infinite volume control. Rain sound loop is long enough that that my brain doesn't recognize a repeated pattern. Relatively inexpensive to replace when the machine fails. CON: The on/off/volume control apparently has a design flaw, so eventually the machine will fail to work properly.Date published: 2019-01-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Ashlyn from Mine worked like a charm for 10+ years. Finally replaced it, took a decade to stop working. The best and simplest sound machine you can get. I’ve used it almost every single day for the entirety of the time I’ve owned it. The price is more than fair for the quality of the product.Date published: 2018-11-29Rated 1 out of 5 by Magsg11 from Got 2 of these and within 8 mo. the sound cuts out I bought two of these from Amazon.com. One I got for myself and a few months later purchased one for my mother who saw mine and loved it! I was very happy with it at first, however after about 6 months of use, it short circuits. It does not make noise when first turned on and when sound is produced, will cut in and out. This is an issue for both machines. I am very disappointed that these don't even last a full year! We buy a lot of homemedics products and truly expected better quality. I would not recommend these after my experience.Date published: 2018-11-26Rated 1 out of 5 by SueP from Started making awful noises after 2-3 weeks of use I bought this and of course threw out all the packaging and receipts thinking I would have it forever. Well after 2-3 weeks it has started making an awful noise after about 30 minutes and wakes me up. Also has an odd clicking noise with the stream and rain optionsDate published: 2018-10-26

Is there a way to change the default sound? I have it plugged into a power strip and hidden out of sight which makes it hard to get to change the sound. If you put batteries in the unit and turn the unit off, when you turn it back on, it will keep your previous sound setting. If, however, you don't have the batteries in it, and use a/c only, when you turn the power off, it will go back to whatever the default setting was - mine happens to be defaulted to rain and I want it to default to ocean and I can't seen to change the default. I want to use a KASA wall outlet (used with Alexa) to voice control the unit on/off. To do this, I keep the volume control "on" and voice command it off which effectively is like unplugging the unit, then when voice command it "on" in effectively plugs the unit into power, however the sound effect changes to rain. Hope this helps you a bit.Date published: 2019-01-08
