Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken Open the package and noticed that the display looked strange. Finally realized that the cover was missing. Looked all over for the cover and finally noticed it adhered to the yellow label on the plug. It looked scratched. Wondered if the lights were affected so returned. Years ago, I had a similar foot spa by homedics. The quality control stinks. Bought mine from Costco on sale so it is being replaced. It seems that Homedics has major issues. I think I'll purchase other brands instead of Homedics. Very disappointing. And most of the reviews are bad. Homedics.. never more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t purchase if you might have to return My review isn’t based on the product just the return cost! I purchased and a day later I found another one, so it was too late to cancel the transaction, shipping was free and fast, so I thought returns would be just as easy, and it wasn’t. I paid $40 for the until returning it would cost me $27, because they don’t offer free returns. I won’t be ordering from HoMedics again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its a Mystery Its a mystery to me. Why would you put a digital readout on a product and not have the readout, or any other indicator, light up when the power is turned on? And the literature doesn't clearly explain this weird operation either. I turned the power on and nothing happened. So I thought I had a defective unit and was getting ready to return it. But after I turned on the power, and also turned on the massage or bubble feature, voila the display suddenly illuminates and aqua footbath bed lights up! I'm sure engineering has a reason for why this unit operates the way it does. The engineering department needs to update its knowledge of human-machine interfaces. Plugged in + power on = some form of indicator light. OSHA might be able to assist you. After that quirky start, this footbath worked very well. It is attractive and very relaxing for my feet. The warm water and bubbles and attractive aqua light are soothing and relaxing. This is a great addition for our footcare, which is getting more and more important as we age. I would offer two improvements: 1) Put an indicator light on the unit to show it is plugged in and the power is turned on. 2) Include a small bag of Epsom salt. Otherwise, this is an excellent product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's OK Got it on a big sale. Unit came with basically no instructions and I have yet to figure out how to use all the pedi attachments. I wish it would heat to a higher temperature, it only keeps water slightly warm and only if you put warm water in. Still I enjoy using it after a long hike. It takes my restless foot sensation away. Warning: you cannot use it on the floor when watching TV, it creates sound and vibration that may be annoying to people around you. I am still glad I bought it. Wanted one for a while and I think I will use it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Screen Does Not Turn On When Power if Pushed I was so mad at first because I thought this didn't work. Plug in, push power - and NOTHING! I could not get the screen to turn on when I turned it on. The LED screen does not indicate whether the foot bath is on, just the heat level. I had to read the other reviews to see what other people have found out. You have to push power and then a bubble or massage button and it will start. If you want to add heat, then push the heat button and adjust temperature up or down - this adjustment is all the LED screen shows. L1, L2, and L3 for the heat levels. Maybe if the instructions were more detailed, I wouldn't have had this frustration. Instructions are VERY poor. Do not describe how to use the unit or the attachments. Seems like the attachments were an afterthought as the spot to attach is in the center of the unit and hard to reach with feet. Poor design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing... The device doesn’t heat well. With Heat boost power as a part of the title, you’d expect more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work and HoMedics is dodging my refund I ordered this a few days ago and I paid additional for a fast shipment. This was a gift for my mom and went she went to turn it on, it didn’t work. It didn’t turn on at all. I have sent HoMedics a few emails requesting a return address and a refund but they have not responded to my emails. I will never purchase from them again and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to buy any of their products. If I do not receive my refund, they will have a suit on their hands.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lukewarm and no kneading massage I have three complaints: 1. the water is only kept lukewarm even at the highest temperature, 2. If you want a "massage" you rub your foot back and forth across some rolling, upraised nodules, and 3. it's loud. That being said, the bubbles and the vibration are nice as long as the water you initially poured into the machine is warm.
