Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't melt the wax. The wax never melted around the edges. This was after 24 hours.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Par350 I just purchased this to use as an aid in healing after surgery on my finger. Instructions said wax takes 3 hours to melt. After 1 hour my ready light is on, but 1/2 of the wax is not melted. Don’t know how to get the rest of the wax to melt and can’t put the grate down without it being melted. Disappointed with the purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great relief I'm so glad to have found this product. It has given me lots of relief from the pain in my hands. I'm surprised at the amount of time it takes to get the wax melted but I really appreciate the safety warnings so that i don't get burnt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mrs. Bradley I love it!!! Works wonders. I bought this when I was going to physical therapy. I hurt my hand pretty bad and therapy helped a little. This machine did the rest. I was able to use my hand without major pain after about a week and a half of using this machine. A blessing to find. Btw my husband started using it and it has helped him also!

Q & A

I bought my Paraffin bath, follow instruction, melt the wax and put the plastic grate down and use it. Am I suppose to take the plastic grate out every time after I use it? I didn't and it stuck at the bottom. What should I do? Thanks.

Asked by: SKMOM
Thank you for your question. The plastic grate should be removed when the paraffin bath is turned off, before the wax begins to harden. If you have forgotten to remove the grate, turn the unit on and melt the wax so the grate can be removed.

how long should I place my foot in the wax.

Asked by: lokibriard
Thank you for your question. Dip your hand, elbow or foot into the melted paraffin wax and remove immediately. Wait a few seconds until the wax solidifies. Try to avoid moving your hand or elbow while wax is applied. Dipping process is quick. Do not leave hand, elbow or foot in the tub. Do not soak. Dip quickly in and out. Repeat this step several times until several layers have formed; 6–10 coatings are suggested.

How to replace wax

Asked by: Ozzie
Thank you for your question. To Remove the wax: Unplug unit and remove grate. Allow paraffin wax to solidify overnight. Push on one end of paraffin wax block. This will tip it up. Lift the block out of the unit and dispose of it. DO NOT USE SHARP OBJECTS TO REMOVE THE PARAFFIN WAX BLOCK, THIS MAY SCRATCH OR DAMAGE THE TUB. If the paraffin wax does not remove easily, plug unit in and allow to heat for 10–15 minutes, then remove the paraffin wax block and unplug the unit. Wipe the inside of the unit with a disposable towel to remove residual dirt and paraffin. To Add New wax: Open the bags of Paraffin Wax and place wax in the tub. Open only as many bags as you plan to use. The unit is designed to hold a maximum of 3 lbs. of melted paraffin wax and a minimum of 2.5 lbs. Always keep the level of melted paraffin wax filled to the “MIN” level marked on the inside of the tub. Plug the unit into a 120V A/C household outlet. Close the locking lid. Push power button. “Heating” light illuminates red while wax is melting. Most of the paraffin wax should melt in 3 hours. “Ready” light will come on when wax is completely melted. Open the lid and carefully place the grate into the wax and allow it to sink to the bottom of the tub. The ParaSpa Plus unit is designed to be used at room temperature. If the wax starts to solidify or flakes form on the top surface, close lid and press power button.
