The HoMedics® TotalComfort™ Humidifier Deluxe uses an ultrasonic technology for whisper-quiet, visible, micro-fine mist with warm or cool mist options. The 1.5-gallon tank is easy to remove and fill, and runs up to 65 hours per filling. Includes auto shut-off protection when tank is empty and a built-in timer up to 8 hours. Clean-tank technology helps protect the tank from mold and mildew. LCD digital readout displays room humidity level, programmed humidity target, timer setting, mist intensity, and mist temperature. Rated 4 out of 5 by from I can breathe better From the moment I plugged this TotalComfort Humidifier Deluxe I knew I was going to like it. There are easy to read directions on setting it up and getting it started was simple. The unit is very stylish and unique looking. There are many different options I can choose depending on how I want to use it. I prefer to use it as a cool mist humidifier now because it's so hot out. I'm sure in the winter I'll change this feature to accommodate my mood. I keep it next to my bed and sleep with it on all night and I wake up every morning without any sinus issues. This is very satisfying for me because I tend to suffer from bad sinuses. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a humidifier that provides both cool and warm mist features.

We are presently using it for one of our children that has a sinus infection and this make it more comfortable for the child to sleep and relax. It is having a very positive effect on improving breathing. It is wonderful. I’m really loving this machine overall!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth it! I love that this humidifier has a shut off feature. It has both cool and warm mist and it holds 1.5 gallons of water, also no filters needed yay! The humidifier tells you the humidity level as well. I totally recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like it so far! Really like this humidifier so far. It's nice to look at and it's quiet when running. Getting it filled up is kinda tricky but I do love that it holds a lot of water and you don't have to constantly be refilling it. My favorite features are that you can have warm or cool mist and that you can program it to shut off automatically when you want it to. I currently have it set up in my living room and it's worked great for us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does it all I've been using the total comfort humidifier deluxe for a few weeks now and I am quite satisfied with it's performance. There is an option for warm or cool air which is great so you don't need to purchase two different machines. You can adjust the humidity level too so you can get or just where you like it. The output of the mist is impressive. This humidifier would definitely do well in a larger room as well as a small. The timer is in 1 hour incriminates up to 8 hours so there's no worrying about forgetting to turn it off. The only fair that would make this a five star review would be a remote control. Really, very happy with this humidifier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super quite Love not only the look and the size of this humidifier but how well it wors. Filling it is a littlle awkward but love that the tank hold over a gallon of water! No filter is needed. I have an one bedroom apartment and keep it in my living room. It has a nice appearance and is super quite. Getting one for my bedroom next.

How often do I clean my humidifer and what us the best method.

Thank you for your question. We recommend cleaning the humidifier every 1 -2 weeks. TO CLEAN THE TANK Remove the water tank from the humidifier base by lifting it from the main unit. Unscrew the tank cap and rinse inside the tank with clean water. To remove any scale or build up, use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and lukewarm water to clean the inside of the tank. TO CLEAN THE ULTRASONIC MEMBRANE Empty, rinse and dry the ultrasonic membrane and the reservoir before refilling. Pour a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water on the surface of the ultrasonic membrane and in the reservoir, then soak for five minutes. Brush clean with a soft-bristle brush and rinse. TO CLEAN THE SURFACE Clean the surface of the unit with a clean damp soft cloth as often as needed.

My humidifier mist on this unit will not increase? It is on level one ane goes to full and then goes back to one. I am dealing with breast cancer and desperately need this to work because of severe dry eyes (legally blind) and cannot afford more expenses!

I want to clean the inside the tank. I do not feel comfortable just wiping the tank and water insert area. What is the meaning by antibacterial technology. And My sensor indicates low does that mean current humidity is low?

Should the humidifier stop blowing out air as well as moisture when it has reached the set humidity? It seems strange to be blowing out cold dry air, when that is unwanted....

Both the cool and warm mist seem to be the same temperature. Should there be much difference, or does mine have a fault? One of the reasons I chose this humidifier was for the warm air.

When using the warm mist setting, you will feel a small temperature difference at the mist spout. The cloud of mist may still feel cool as the mist interacts with the air in the room. You may feel an increase of warmth in the room the humidifier is located in. The warm setting will not produce a mist as warm as a vaporizer mist.

What does LO mean on the display?

Thank you for your question. The "LO" showing on the display means that the current humidity level is too low for the humidifier register. We recommend increasing the humidistat level.
