our plan of [climate] action
An online destination for all things wellness, Homedics
is all about enhancing physical and mental health for everyone. So, it makes sense to show the
same care and kindness to the planet. Home to all 8 billion of us, the earth provides us with
everything we need to live healthy, fulfilling lives – so we should be doing the same in
return.
We’re taking sustainable steps towards protecting our environment and preserving the future of
the planet - and we’ve made strides already. While we’ve achieved some of our green goals,
there’s still a lot happening behind the scenes (like implementing a carbon reduction plan, for
example). By 2050, Homedics plans to have reached its target of net zero in its mission to
combat the effects of climate change
what is net zero?
Net zero is achieved when the number of emissions released by man-made activities is matched by the amount of carbon removed from the atmosphere. To achieve this, organizations can reduce their emission output (from vehicles and factories, for instance), and any remaining emissions can be balanced with the same amount of carbon removal carried out. Many companies work with reforestation organizations to remove carbon from the atmosphere. You can find out more about our work with One Tree Planted below
green goals
We’re working hard to empower our team members, manufacturers and partners with the tools and knowledge they need to better understand climate change and how we can work together to have a real, lasting impact. Here’s what our plan of [climate] action looks like.
