FAQs

• Who can connect to my diffuser through the app?

  The diffuser works very much like your Bluetooth speaker or other similar devices. Anyone in range of the product while in pairing mode will be able to connect through the app.

• I bought two devices, how do I connect to my second device through the app?

  When in the app, you will go to the Settings tab, then click Device Management. From there, it will say Delete Device at the bottom of the screen. Once you do this, the app will immediately go into search mode and will allow you to connect to any additional device around you. In the future, you will be able to be connected to multiple devices at one time and toggle between them. We are working on this feature and will update the app soon!

• I have two or more diffusers, and I don’t know which one is which when trying to connect through the app.

  Each device has a unique Product ID. The last 4 numbers/letters that you will see when connecting to your device or when you look up your device name in the Settings tab under Device Management are unique to your device. So, as an example, what you will see is ARMH-972 FAE5. The FAE5 would be your device's UNIQUE ID. Remember or mark which diffuser is which so you can easily recall them! In the future, we will allow you to name your diffuser for it to be even easier for you.

• I am having trouble with the scheduler in the app. What do I do?

  I want to edit my schedule: You must have the schedule toggled OFF while you are setting your schedule. Once you have completed setting your schedule from there toggle schedule ON to save it.

• My schedule did not start or stop per the settings I created:

  Check the schedule toggle is ON
  
  If while a schedule is active, you manually change any setting such as intensity, lighting or time (from physical device or from app) then the scheduler will be negated. After any manual operation you should toggle your schedule Off then On to ensure it is set again.
  
  We have heard feedback from our valued community and are working quickly to change this to be more user friendly. We appreciate the great feedback and patience while we quickly make these changes.

• How do I update the app firmware?

• Why does the mist start and then stop?

  The diffuser is designed to mist and pause at different times based on the intensity setting you choose. The unit does not mist continuously.  

• What is the difference between level 1 (low) fragrance mist intensity and level 3 (high) fragrance mist intensity? 

  When the diffuser is set at level 1, it will release mist for a short amount of time and then take a long pause. When the diffuser is set at level 3, it will release mist for a longer amount of time and take a shorter pause. The unit does not mist continuously.
  
  At low fragrance mist intensity (1), the paused period is approximately 4 minutes.
  
  At medium fragrance mist intensity (2), the paused period is approximately 2 minutes.
  
  At high fragrance mist intensity (3), the paused period is approximately 1 minute.

  

• The mist is too strong/too weak. 

  There are 3 fragrance mist intensity levels, 1 (low) being the least intense and 3 (high) being the most intense. Adjust mist intensity to a higher or lower intensity level based on preference. 

• How long does a refill last? 

  SereneScent sampler 60 ml oils last approximately 15 days*
  SereneScent 120 ml oil lasts up to 30 days.*   *15 or 30 days of operation at 8 hours per day and middle intensity level 2. 

• Can other product refills be used in the SereneScent Diffuser? 

  Your diffuser will only work properly when using SereneScent oils. Use of any other oil is not recommended and will void diffuser warranty. 

• My diffuser is not diffusing

  Make sure the power is ON.   If there is still no diffusion or it is weak, remove the oil bottle. Fill the empty 120 ml bottle that came with diffuser with rubbing alcohol and run it through the diffuser for 30 minutes.  

• Little to no mist is coming out. 

  The atomization head is blocked. Clean diffuser by following the cleaning instructions in the Instruction Bulletin.

• Oil is leaking from my diffuser.

• Little to no mist is coming out. 

  The oil bottle is loose. Screw it in straight or check to make sure the seal is not broken or missing.  

• My diffuser is spraying liquid. 

  Make sure the diffuser is always sitting vertical. 

•  My diffuser is making a strange sound. 

  The pump is loose or damaged. Tighten the pump.

• How do I clean my diffuser?

  1. Clean the mist tube: Dip a cotton swab in 90% isopropyl alcohol and clean the base of the mist tube located at the bottom of the diffuser head.
  2. Prepare the cleaning solution: Fill the provided empty 15 ml bottle with 90% isopropyl alcohol. Run the diffuser: Attach the cleaning solution bottle to the diffuser and run it on high for 30 minutes. This helps clear any buildup in the system.
  3. Replace the cleaning bottle: Turn off the diffuser, remove the cleaning solution bottle, and replace it with your SereneScent™ Essential Oil.
