Customer Reviews
Deep Sleep® Revitalize Engineered Sleep Sound Alarm Clock is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Conflicting review I just got it and spent a couple hours going through the different sounds and learning how to set it up. I really love all the sound choices and how it can replace my alarm clock on my nightstand. However. The only alarm sound options are the sleep sounds and I don't know if that will work. One big negative are the buttons. They are really hard to use. The play button was making me crazy cause it wouldn't do a thing till my finger was sore. Almost every button I tried was difficult to get a response from. The sounds are great but I still don't know if I'll keep it because it's so hard to set up and change. It's hard to even see where the buttons are. I wish it was easier. I really want it to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect gift for my wife. I sure hope my wife likes her birthday gift of this. At least I was impressed with what the display showed and did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Sleep I Have Had in a While I'm a very light sleeper whose brain likes to run on and on thinking in the night. Every noise wakes me up, and I also have a bladder that thinks it needs to get up 5 times a night. So, my sleep has suffered. I bought an old second hand homedics sleep machine (10+ years old) and it helped a little, but the quality was "eh". When I got this home, I was very impressed with its appearance. It actually LOOKS nice, I love the colors and how modern it looks. It goes well with my neutral decor, so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. I really appreciate that it has a USB slot in the back to charge my phone since my outlets are otherwise occupied by this and a lamp. I got to admit, I was worried that the clock would bother me (blue light?!), because every light bothers me. On my old sound machine, I had to put black electrical tape over the green lights to sleep. However, with this one, you can not only dim it, you can turn it off! The sound quality blew me away too. It wasn't some dinky speaker, it's actually got really nice sound and can be LOUD. I didn't intend to use it as a bluetooth speaker, but it might be worth it. The sound quality IMMERSES you in it, which makes it more effective than some noise coming from some end of the room. I use the Sleep Therapy Ocean program and appreciate that it transitions into brown noise (Sleep therapy modes transition, sleep sounds don't). I never even knew what brown noise was, but it's definitely the sound for me. It's a heavier "more full" sound than white noise and does wonders. You can set a timer if you like, but I don't use the timer function. I'm also grateful for 2 alarm clock options, and that you can choose to use different sounds to wake up to (I like the sunrise option with bird tweets) along with being able to set the volume of the sound separately from the current volume. Most the buttons are intuitive, kind of like the old clock/time system of holding a button down to choose. If I had a complaint about the buttons, it would be the touch ones on the front are maybe a little TOO sensitive, and it's easy to push something when moving the clock. If you're older and not too familiar with technology, it CAN look daunting, but all the instructions are there in the booklet and it really isn't different than older alarm clocks and sleep machines. Overall though, I love it, and don't understand the negative review, which I find unfair because everything you need to know about the device is there in the booklet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Random Sound Change Really liked this Sound Spa.....at first. Set it up, which was a little difficult, went through all the sounds and my wife chose 'Pink Noise'. She tends to come to bed a little later and sleep a little later. After about a week she complained of the 'Meditation Program' coming on, but I ignored it. A week later, it came on about 4 AM, I changed back to 'Pink Noise' and got up since it was about 30 minutes until I needed to anyway. I have noticed that it changed programs at random times, but since it mostly came on in the morning when I needed to get up anyway, I figured I would try to reprogram on the weekend, until last night. It changed sounds every two hours from eleven until I finally got sick of it this morning. I really wanted to like this Sound Spa due to the features and the fact that my wife can dim the clock as needed, but the random changing of sounds really makes this unusable for us.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs different set buttons Love the rain setting far and above rain on other sleep machines. But and this is BIG but it is hard to set up. More often than not settings don't change when touched. Very frustrating. Need to have better way to set up and not use settings more than one function. Also set it to stay on rain woke up to white noise setting. Instruction booklet very little help. A good on-off button would be tremendously helpful.

Q & A

I am struggling to connect my phone to the speaker. I previously set up the bluetooth and it worked, but now when it is in “My Devices” on my bluetooth, and in roaming, it won’t connect. I am wondering if my device is defective or if I am doing this wrong

Asked by: maggie624
To connect your Bluetooth-enabled device with the HDS-3000, long press the Bluetooth button. The symbol will begin flashing. Follow the steps on your Bluetooth-enabled device to pair to HDS-3000. Once paired, the Bluetooth symbol will stop flashing. While streaming, short press the Bluetooth button to unpair.

Want to use the pink noise for sleep x8hours.  Will the sleep therapy program begin 20minutes of nature sound first.?? Then will the transition go to the pink noise....?. Need advise on “how to use therapy for pink noise” thanks.

Asked by: Moore
Sleep Therapy programs are scientifically engineered to help you fall asleep and stay asleep. Each Sleep Therapy program begins with 20 minutes of either a nature sound or guided sleep meditation to help you relax and fall asleep. The sound then gently transitions to brown noise, which plays for the remainder of the night, masking loud noises and helping you achieve your deepest sleep.

Does this also have a alarm clock? I want to use this to help me fall asleep and also wake me in the morning.

Asked by: Csharp
Yes. The Deep Sleep® Revitalize has 2 alarm settings so you can set 2 different wake-up times. When setting each alarm, you’ll set the alarm time and corresponding wake sound and volume.

Can I bypass auto shut off?

Asked by: Tfly
There isn't an auto-shut off. There's a timer mode which you do not have to enable. You can just choose your setting. Sleep sound will play the sound all night. Sleep therapy starts with a sound and transitions to brown noise. If you don't choose a timer, they will stay on until you hit the play/pause button in the morning.

When I set the sleep sound and the timer, the machine decides to change my settings to a sleep therapy sound after about 15 minutes. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to prevent this?

Asked by: Qwewqeq
Are you choosing the sound from the "sleep therapy" track? There's two different sound banks: sleep therapy and sleep sounds. If you don't want the sound to transition, you need to choose it from the "sleep sounds" part. Sleep sounds is the top button above the clock on the "touch" button section (not the physical buttons).

I have the same question as another - How do you set the time, turn on the Bluetooth, and adjust the lighting options when none of those 3 buttons on the top work?!?!?!!!!  Very frustrating to spend that much money and not be able to set the time!!!!

Asked by: Suze90
Perhaps you have a defective device, but all the buttons work on my device. For the time: Hold down the clock button (long hold), then use the volume/track buttons to choose. It will ask you for 12h/24h first, then progress to hours/minutes. Use the clock button in between each step to make a selection (short press/normal press). To dim the light: just press it once, it cycles through the options. The buttons are extremely responsive normally.
