Shiatsu Pro Back Massager with Heat is rated out of 5 by 12.Rated 4 out of 5 by Carrie M. from Fantastic for Recurring Low Back Problems I bought one of these at Costco a few months ago and have been using it multiple times daily ever since. You have to know that it is designed to sort of "hurt" if you are not used to this type of massage. But you can regulate the amount of pressure by how much you "lean in" to the machine while it is working. You can also drape a towel over it to provide a bit of protection until the soft tissues in your back get used to it. Just this morning, the balls on one side seem to have slipped out of position, so I came here to check on the warranty. I'm sure Costco will exchange for a new one if they still have these in stock, but if not, it looks like Homedics has a good 2-year warranty, and I assume they would happily honor that if needed. Since I abuse my back on a regular basis, this has been a huge help and I don't want to be without one for very long! Thanks for a good product, Homedics; I'm sure the unexpected defect in this particular one will be quickly resolved! When it is, I will come back and give this 5-stars for sure!!Date published: 2017-07-16Rated 3 out of 5 by Shelley A. from Be careful and don't over use it! My thoughts are you must be careful and not over use it, for sure the first time. I did and my back was sore for several days. The massage balls are not soft which I think would help if they were and too much use and pressure could give you sore muscles.Date published: 2017-01-01Rated 5 out of 5 by Michelle Delecki from Amazing I tried this out recently at Macy's where they had one out to test. It's not on my Christmas list. I sat there for 30 minutes not wanting to get up. I had hip surgery 5 months ago and have had tight muscles in that area since. This is going to be a wonderful addition to all the physical therapy I am doing.Date published: 2016-11-20Rated 1 out of 5 by Lilia from Very poor quality I bought this masager on Dec, 2016 through Macy's store on line. Used it max three times, it is already broken. Power switch is not responding , Heat switch works intermediately . Will return it . My advice ... do not buy it.Date published: 2017-01-09Rated 5 out of 5 by Joni W. from Son loves it! This was a gift for my son. This one is perfect. You can do a massage with this massager on a chair or on the floor. I bought a larger vergion for my son - he works all day long on computers and he loves the massager even better than me.Date published: 2018-05-06Rated 1 out of 5 by Jean I. from Ouch Far too rough. Felt like it was trying to destroy my back. Heating element was either extremely slow to heat or non-functional.Date published: 2017-01-05
