MYCHILL™ Personal Space Cooler Plus 2.0 is rated out of 5 by 34.Rated 5 out of 5 by LDG188 from Gift appreciated I purchased this as a gift for my wife and she could not have been more surprised. She is impressed with how well it cools her work space as it does genuinly produce cool air and not just blow the warm room air around like a fan. Also it arrived very quickly directly from Homedics.Date published: 2018-09-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Gilbert from cold Amazing finnally got one that works chills me allnightDate published: 2018-09-01Rated 1 out of 5 by Srdpmorais from Design Flaws and Bad Customer Service I’ve had this unit for a few weeks and have had nothing but problems with it! (1) The thing has to be on a PERFECTLY level surface or it will leak on the table. The water is pumped up to a tray just above the cooling cartridge and is supposed to run down the cartridge via four holes in the tray. I have never seen the water evenly cover the cartridge thus the unit does not cool as it should. The few holes in the tray that do supply water successfully pour so much water in a narrow area of the cartridge that it overloads it and leaks out onto the table. (2) I’m constantly having to fill the unit. (3) the literature says that it will cool a six foot area; NO WAY! (4) Customer service was useless and never offered a replacement and did not respond to several of my emails except for my initial email to them to which they never accepted responsibility and never offered a replacement.Date published: 2018-08-30Rated 1 out of 5 by Kier from Leaks everywhere I bought this hoping it would keep my dorm room cool, I got back from class and everything was soaked.Date published: 2018-08-27Rated 5 out of 5 by Eileen from It Works I bought the Mychill for my son’s room because his room doesn’t get good cooling even with the central air conditioning and he wasn’t sleeping well. He said it makes a big difference and he was finally able to sleep comfortably.Date published: 2018-08-13Rated 1 out of 5 by German from Not Cool! I am sorry but we have try it for a week already and it does not feel any cool, even by placing it by my daughters bed facing her.Date published: 2018-08-08Rated 5 out of 5 by RedR from Saved by this Personal Space Cooler I have been using this since May 1, 2018 and besides having a filter problem with this item, which has since been taken care of, I love this little cooler. I am highly allergic to any kind of heat and lately my A/C unit has been freezing up which wakes me up because I am getting hot and heat hives appearing. I just happen to turn on QVC at the perfect time to watch this demonstration. I live in deep south Louisiana where we do have high humidity. I wanted to use this for a while before writing a review. I purchased the mint color. The other day my A/C started acting up again and I put this baby on my chest of drawers right by my bed and pointed the vents down toward my pillow. I ran it on low and it was still blowing cool air 10 hours later. I finally got a good nights rest without getting up several times during the night because I was too hot. The slight noise that the fan makes does not bother me at all (I actually hear my a/c unit over the MyChill and the A/C is located in the living area) and I can be on the opposite side of the bed and still feel cool. HATS OFF TO THIS PRODUCT. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT. I am thinking about calling to see if they have extra water reservoirs, so that if I was ill and had to stay in bed all day, I would not have to get out of bed and fill the water container up to have cool air again. All I would have to do is take empty one out and place extra one filled with water in. Perfect solution for nights or days when water runs dry.Date published: 2018-08-04Rated 1 out of 5 by Stacy from Doesn’t work - buyer beware I bough this about a month ago and it doesn’t blow cold air and leaks water everywhere. I wanted to return and customer service states they do no pay for returns so I will have to pay to return defective itemDate published: 2018-08-02

My red indicator light doesn't come on when cooler is out of water. What do I do please? Thank you Model # is PAC-30CM.
We are sorry to hear this. Please contact Consumer Relations at 1-800-466-3342 for assistance.Date published: 2018-10-12How much does this weigh empty and full?
The unit is approximately 6.5 pounds empty. The weight of the unit with water will depend on the amount of water being used. We do not suggest moving the unit when it contains water.Date published: 2018-08-21The description says the water should last 6 hours, but mine is taking days to run all the way through (on top setting) and isn't as powerful as it used to be. What can I do to improve this?
You may need to clean the pump filter and cooling cartridge. Instructions for this can be found on page 9 of the instruction book.Date published: 2018-08-14Just recently the red indicator light started to blink and I don't know what that means. The unit still seems to function. How can I get it to stop blinking? Thank you.
The unit is equipped with a low water LED. The light will flash red, indicating the water tank needs to be refilled.Date published: 2018-11-11I got mine on QVC and I love it. I would like to leave it on all night and wondered if it shut off automatically when the water runs low. Have not let it run beyond the blinkibg red light for fear of damaging it.
The pump will automatically turn off and the fan will continue to run. This will not damage the unit if the unit runs out of water during the night.Date published: 2018-11-10Does the company answer the questions on here? I wanted to know how many amps it uses but this was already asked and not answered. Hopefully the company will answer the questions on their own website...
The My Chill units are designed to be plugged into a household electrical outlet.Date published: 2018-11-29Mine leaks and is not very effective. Any suggestions?
Take the top off the internal filter. The dirty water has clogged the absorption holes causing the backup of water to spill out. I just did it to mine and put it back together without the top trough and no more spilling.Date published: 2018-07-25Mine leaks... ruined table I had it on!! I love it... but leaves about 1/4” of water in the tray I now have in it after every cycle. Should it leak like this?
I JUST FIXED MY LEAK! Ok so open the machine and pull out the filter, tear the top off of the filter (it has two pinch things on the sides that are stubborn but it will come off) Notice the black dots on the white filter material. That’s all dirt, backing up the water from being absorbed, causing the spilling. I put the machine back together without the top plastic bit with the holes, refilled it and no water is dumping into cookie tray!! My brother has one too so I told him the pull out one of the two white filter layers and put the top back on the filter to see if that will also work. I bet it will.Date published: 2018-07-25- Support
