Could be great, but ...
I bought this for my octogenarian mother because the massage is gentle enough for her. I was disappointed that it did not include an AC adapter for use in the home as she spends very little time in the car. “Travel” for her means that she moves from a chair at her house to a chair at adult day care. Homedics does not answer their customer service telephone line and does not respond to their site’s “email” feature, so I cannot get an answer to my question about an AC adapter available for purchase. If I can’t get a solution, I may need to return the item.

Not what I expected
I purchased this for my husband to use in his den in his chair to replace the one he currently has. One of the areas on his just makes a horrible noise but it still vibrates on his back where he needs it. He does not like massagers. I was very disappointed to find that this could not be used plugged in in the house. I gave it to our daughter to use in her car.
