I have been using a Homedics massager for the past 16 or 18 years. The first one lasted me around 5 or so years. I had to replace the power cord a couple of times because of my carelessness. I was in a car accident in the early 2000’s and I use my massager every single day for leg neck and back pain. I was amazed at the awesome quality and when I needed a new one I bought 2 of the same model I had originally purchased. After 12 or so years I had to replace my last surviving massager. I was in JCPenny and found the HHP-351H model for $80. Yep. $80. Thank goodness I had a $25 coupon off of any purchase. Anyway, the HHP-351H was the closest I could find to my old massager. The heat option is a must have which I have always loved. The speed controls were now a push button instead of a slide switch which was ok but the lowest speed on the new one is much much faster than the older model. Because of my success with my previous massagers I knew and trusted the Homedics brand. Unfortunately as is the case for most manufacturers newer does not mean better. The new model seemed to be a bit on the dainty side for lack of a better term. It was not near as heavy which for me was a drawback and it started out very quiet and quickly became very noisy. Unfortunately the new massager broke only after 2 months of use. The handle separated in the middle and the top section of plastic tore a bit. I have used plastic wire ties to hold it together so we will see how that works.Date published: 2018-03-21Rated 3 out of 5 by Candy from Confused The massager is ok? But there is NO heat which I really wanted. I've tried to call and can never reach anyone. And when the recording comes on it says if you are calling about the recall, da da da, I don't know what massager they are referring to. Could you please tell me what it's Massage Intensity Meter is (1-5)?This massager does not have an intensity meter. The dual pivoting head massage at up to 3,100 pulses per minute which provides a luxurious massage.Date published: 2018-12-04
I do not have strong hands, would this be the best massager for me? I need a deep tissue massage but light weight massager.Thank you for your question, the product weight is 3.51 lbs.Date published: 2018-08-27
What is the intensity level?
What's the difference between this model and the hhp 350 model
How does this unit compare with the HHP-285HJ-THP model. This model has a handle and variable speed are those the only differences. What about the size and weight of each unit. Are there any other differences.
IS THIS MASSAGER BATTERY OPERATED OR ELECTRIC?
What is the length of the cord? I had a model PA-1MW that lasted several years; would this be the closest current model?
