Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not that good My daughter bought this for me to combat neuropathy that I have and it does nothing for it. A waste of money for what it is advertised as.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Relieved my constant feet pain! I have been seeing a doctor about high arches and constant foot pain. I was told to stretch and change my shoes and insoles. Did all of the above but still in pain. My sister bought me this massager as a suprise. The first time I used it about 10 times in row alternating heat on and then off. I was nearly pain free the first day of use! The next day I used it once or twice. My feet are size 7 women and it seems to work fine on the bottom of my feet except not getting the total heel well. No side or back feet massage either. The air pressure is light for me even on high, but I still like it. To have relieved my feet pain so quickly, I'd highly recomment this for plantar fasciitis treatment, which is what I was diagnosed with. I also alway use the massger with a clean pair of socks as there are no machine washable parts (wipe down only). The machine air pressure is a bit noisy, but I don't mind. The front massager is circular while the mid to back area is forward and back motion. I also move my feet around when needed to hit certain spots and also press my feet down for a deeper massage. I can walk now with only minor heel pain. I'll take it!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I was hoping My feet are small and the massagers didn't hit my feet whee I needed them to. For the pressures I wanted I had to really press my feet down..not relaxing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It does a good job I like this, the squeezing pressure is not very tight on smaller feet, but it does what I want it to do.. when my foot hurts from planters, it gets the kinks out

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed I was so excited because I've bought massagers from them before. But the day it arrived I opened it and set it up, it was great for about 1 whole minute, then the massage part stopped working!!! I contacted customer service, it took them 3 days to respond and they make it such a pain to return and forever to get a replacement. They don't even offer a refund! Very dissapointed!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wrong choice I bought this product a lilt over a month and have been totally disappointed. I read a few reviews, perished the ratings and believed this would be the product for me. I could not have been more wrong. After 8 minutes, even on low, my small toes actually begin to hurt. I thought it as the day and high humidity so I repeated this on a cooler day with the same results. My only regret is I was so busy with work I failed to test this sooner. I would not purchase this product again or recommend.

What chemical is it in this product that requires you to put the Proposition 65 label on it? Thank you

Asked by: jane34
Proposition 65, also known as the “Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986,” is a California law that requires warnings to be placed on any product that contains or may contain one of more than 900 chemicals designated by the State, even if only in extremely low, trace amounts, and even if they do not make the product unsafe. A Proposition 65 warning label does not mean that the product poses any danger to the consumer. Proposition 65 warnings are all over California, in restaurants, dentist’s offices, grocery stores, parking lots and on products such as makeup and jewelry. HoMedics products are constructed of ordinary materials, such as plastic, cloth, paper and metal. While we believe our products are safe when used as designed and pose no health risks, we provide the warning to avoid costly and frivolous lawsuits. Proposition 65 imposes large penalties, enforceable through civil litigation, for failing to provide a warning unless the company can prove that the presence of a listed chemical presents “no significant risk,” which is defined in a way that renders definitive proof difficult, costly, and uncertain. Companies are often faced with the expense of having to defend civil litigation merely due to the presence of a listed chemical in a product without a warning, regardless of whether it presents any actual risk or results in exposure levels sufficient to trigger a warning requirement. As such, HoMedics, as well as most other companies, have elected to include this warning to ensure compliance with Proposition 65. Thank you for your question. The foot massager must be plugged into a 120 volt household outlet. There is only one power button located on the front of the massager to turn the massager on.
