Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly designed and difficult to clean I purchased this in December 2017, it is now June 2018 and the motor is giving out and I only use it at night when I sleep and clean it every morning. The design is very awkward to use and clean. This replaced a previous Homedics humidifier that I had for 3 years and I am greatly disappointed in this one. Never thought I would be looking for a new humidifier this soon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very poor design The product looks pretty, but the design is so user unfriendly that it's difficult to fill the tank. I am always afraid that it would slip and all the water will spill. Sometimes it will stop seemingly for no reason. I do discover that cleaning it make it works again. I am not able to clean the spout. I read that it can grow mold. Yuck! If that happens I will have to throw it out. I got it from Costco at a great price. So at least I didn't pay $129. What I do like is the demineralization cartridges that came with the product. I think that little cartridges really work. I am getting those for my other humidifiers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Easy To Clean We have been using this humidifier for approximately 6 months with no mechanical problems. We regularly clean it with vinegar. However I noticed slime/mold was still building up, especially near the transducer and the mist outlet. This unit was extremely difficult to clean. You have to disassemble the whole thing to access the mist tube which you cannot unscrew without removing the display. Once completely disassembled it still was hard to reach areas and clean, even with qtips.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Whack It takes some figuring out as far as why it stops, and why it drains the tanks unproportionately. You have to babysit the water tanks upon filling, they don't stand on their own. The worst part about this is that it is hard to clean and quickly has mold build-up, most likely introducing mold spores or something dangerous into the atmosphere.

I have run this strictly with distilled water and it has been amazing. the options are great, controls are simple, and the dual tank is fantastic!.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product! I also bought my humidifier at Costco. It worked perfectly for about four days. Then it turned itself off, refused to restart several times, even after having been unplugged and plugged in again, and finally, when I removed both tanks and sopped up the water in the trough in the back, then replaced the full tanks, it worked again this happens consistently every few days. Costco got taken on this product and so did the consumers. I am very dissatisfied.

How to clean humidifier. ? A simple video on youtube will help. I can see dirt from where mist comes out . How to clean places which are not reachable ?

We suggest that you clean the Humidifier with a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. You can run this mix through the machine, use a pipe cleaner to clean areas that you are not able to reach with your hands.

The water keeps stopping. We need to lift one side up to get the water to fill the basin again. What can we do?

Please remove your tank from the unit, flip the tank over so the cap on the tank is facing the ceiling. Press on the center of the cap where you see the spring about 15-20 times, this will loosen the spring and should allow water to flow.
