I have had this same model since 2015 and I like my old one better as this new one seems to take a long time to get to full saturation

A friend loaned a Homedics oximeter and it was great. I had to purchase another brand at my
Drug store and it was not nearly as. So I ordered my own Homedic and am very satisfied

It does the job.
I needed a pulse oximeter and this one was the only kind on the shelf. It accurately measures (compared with doctor office pulse oximeter) and it doesn't punch finger. However, it is worn on the finger "backward" to typical meters. It makes it challenging to read especially if a person has limited dexterity in their arms and hands. It lacks the ability to "see" the heart rate. My last oximeter had that feature and it became real important especially in the instance of arythmia. But overall if you just need to get the o2 and pulse rate, this unit works.

Easy to use, works great.
The only problem I have is that the carrying case is very flimsy. The case started to come apart in about one month. I would suggest using a heaver material for better quality.
