Rated 3 out of 5 by from Consistently reads high I have had this monitor for several years--checked it out with my doctor when originally purchased and the blood pressure readings were accurate. This past year I have been concerned because my blood pressure readings done on this machine were uniformly high so I took the machine into my current doctor and it no longer reads anything but the pulse accurately. I am disappointed that the life span of accurate readings is so short--just long enough to get out of warranty.

I had a similar cuff for years and needed a new one, also Homedic so that is why I purchased another one. One feature I do not like is that it pumps too high to start the reading and stays inflated too long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heart Monitor The new monitor replaced an older model. One thing I missed is the Icon that you had a PVC. The new cuff is better because it takes less time to adjust.

C-: As for this monitor, I don't have the same model but mine is a HoMedics, and I do like it very much. Works well, is easy to use, and I love the memory feature, (now even more because I can upload it automatically).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well and it is Works well and it is very intuitive to use. Definitely get the auto-inflating model (BPA vs BPS). It is worth the extra bucks. Amazon says that a lot of people buy this with a USB to Mini-B cables. don't bother. I have hooked the monitor to a USB connector, and all it does is display the number, 056. It would have been nice if it dumped the last 100 readings, which what I had hoped that it would do. But no luck on that count. The best that I can figure is that the factor put the mini-B plug there for them to program and test the device. Not so end users can download their statistics.

Just bought monitor but need bigger cuff. Is there a charge?

The model BPA-060 comes with a standard cuff which fits 9-13 inches and a larger cuff that fits 13- 17 inches. We do not make a cuff that fits larger than 17 inches.

How do I set my date and time from pm to am? I change the date and time but not the pm or am?

There will be a P.M. indicator displayed on the screen when the time is set to the P.M. hours. When setting the time you will need to continue to scroll through the hour until you see the P.M. indicator. If you do not see the P.M. indicator on the screen, the hour is in the A.M.

The blood pressure monitor works with batteries. There is an optional AC adapter available but it is not included with the monitor.
