The HoMedics® TotalComfort™ Humidifier Deluxe uses an ultrasonic technology for whisper-quiet, visible, micro-fine mist with warm or cool mist options. The 1.5-gallon tank is easy to remove and fill, and runs up to 65 hours per filling. Includes auto shut-off protection when tank is empty and a built-in timer up to 8 hours. Clean-tank technology helps protect the tank from mold and mildew. LCD digital readout displays room humidity level, programmed humidity target, timer setting, mist intensity, and mist temperature. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warm and cool mist feature I bought this from Bed Bath and Beyond Difficult to fill as the opening is on bottom . I had used this a couple of times and have to fill it in bathtub. It slipped from my hand and cracked and started leaking so had to order the container again

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Motor Failing Unfortunately I am waiting for the motor to stop working, and I haven’t had it for a full winter season. 4 months straight of use and the motor is starting to get loud giving off unusual sounds. Prior to this it was doing a nice job putting moisture into the room, but at this price look elsewhere for a better quality motor, and one that is easier to clean.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from works well, easy to fill, fragile tank I was very happy with the function of this even though it requires a lot of cleaning for our hard water. That is until I bumped the tank while cleaning after only a month of use and it shattered. No help from the website as the tank is not in stock and the phone is either closed or too many calls and can't leave a message. Grateful BB and Beyond replaced it broken tank and all with no hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It! After my Vick's vaporizer gave out I figure I needed a real humidifier since my sinuses are such a mess. I live in the southwest where it's always dry. I am so happy with this since I use it nearly 24/7 all year long! Love the big easy to fill tank and that it has both warm and cool mist. Since I have really hard water I just make sure to clean it with vinegar as instructed. The blue night light is added bonus

I’m going to add yet another question about “Lo.” When I reset the humidity percentage, the unit resets itself to Lo. What the heck is this?

When you see "Lo" on the display, the humidity level in the area of the humidifier is too low for the humidifier to register.

when I follow with book . warm mist do not have .I set many time and machine still not have warm mist.after that I read trouble shooting guide and follow .Now still not warm mist { I bought machine 1day }.

You may feel an increase of warmth in the room the humidifier is located in. The warm setting will not produce a mist as warm as a vaporizer mist.

The mist doesn't feel very warm although the warm light is on. Can you make the mist warmer?

I have been trying to get warm mist by setting it to warm but I don't feel any difference between warm and cold. I waited for much more than 10 mins but it still doesnt throw wam mist. Am I missing anything?

How do you clean the passage way that is inside the water tank? I find it difficult to clean the passage way that is inside the water tank since not only does it have a narrow passage, but it also curves which is almost impossible to get it cleaned.

Use a 50/50 vinegar and water solution inside the tank. You can turn the machine on and run a vinegar/water solution cycle through the machine. You can also use flexible bottle brush or pipe cleaners to get into the tube to clean.

A pink film formed inside the mist tunnel. How can I clean it and the tank?

TO CLEAN THE TANK Remove the water tank from the humidifier base by lifting it from the main unit. Unscrew the tank cap and rinse inside the tank with clean water. To remove any scale or build up, use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and lukewarm water to clean the inside of the tank. TO CLEAN THE ULTRASONIC MEMBRANE Empty, rinse and dry the ultrasonic membrane and the reservoir before refilling. Pour a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water on the surface of the ultrasonic membrane and in the reservoir, then soak for five minutes. Brush clean with a soft-bristle brush and rinse. TO CLEAN THE SURFACE Clean the surface of the unit with a clean damp soft cloth as often as needed.
