As if helping you breathe easier isn’t enough, the humidifier’s Clean Tank Technology helps protect the tank from mold and mildew and includes 2 demineralization cartridges to reduce hard water conditions. The 2-gallon dual tanks are divided into easily carried 1-gallon tanks for effortless refilling. A whisper-quiet feature makes it great for a bedroom or nursery.

Clean and Quiet

Set it and forget it

Customer Reviews
Warm and Cool Mist Dual-Tank Ultrasonic Humidifier is rated 2.1 out of 5 by 108.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work after 1 season I bought this from Costco and I am sorry about that, especially since all reviews are negative. I ran it last season for less than 2 months. This season I unboxed it, it turns on and the front panel works, but it will not produce any mist.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought 2 and neither of them work I bought two of these, one for each of my kids bedrooms. They worked great for about a month or two. I really wish I had taken the time to register it. Now when we turn the device on it will work for a few seconds and then it stops. It doesn't turn off it just stops sending mist out...even when I program it to be a constant mist. It is also very bulky, hard to handle when filling the tanks and hard to clean. They really should stop selling this style because of all the awful reviews!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never runs long We bought one at Costco 2017. Had to send that unit in for repair. It took FOREVER to get it back. They sent us a new one and this one won't run for more than a few minutes at a time and only once in a while. Don't buy this unit!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design of tank I also bought ours from Costco. Loved the warm/cool mist and all the humidity features. Within the first week, however, I dropped the tank after filling it in my bathtub, and it cracked. The design is poor for filling it. The tank is rather pointed, so when you fill it you have to turn it upside down, then screw the lid on. Bcecause it is pointed and not not flat, it is very difficult to balance while screwing on the lid. The website shows replacement tanks are out of stock. Unfortunately, we bought three of these for each of our rooms. I haven't tried cleaning it yet, but the cleaning light came on within a week.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ultrasonic humidifiers I bought this same model from Costco, like everyone else. Read the instructions that clearly state to use distilled water, which I buy from Walmart. I wonder if all these people that complain about the unit are truly using distilled water, or tap water? So far so good but too early to tell.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great features, very difficult to clean I bought two of these. As far as features and use it is the best humidifier i have owned. Love the humidistat & cleaning reminder. It is nearly silent and the EO tray is fantastic! I love that it is 2 gallons, and the separate tanks make it easy to fill. The tanks aren't super easy to handle when full and the lids are not easy to screw back on, but those are minor inconveniences and I can gladly work with that. My complaint is that it is extremely difficult to clean. Impossible to clean the passage where the mist rises up and the passage under the reservoir. As far as i can tell the one under the reservoirs does not need cleaning yet, but the passage where the mist rises has cold water mold. Not okay. There are some major design flaws in this product when it comes to the cleaning.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked for two months-ish and dead Yep...got this from Costco and like everyone complaining here, it died after only two months of use. The “clean” light came on and after a thorough cleaning with mixture of distilled vinegar and water, it just died out of the blue. Maybe you guys should do better with quality control? The humidifiers I got from Amazon for 30 bucks worked way longer and better than this over-priced joke.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked two days Bought this at Costco. It worked great for two days, then stopped. We checked everything, changed out the water tanks, turned off and on, unplugged. Nothing. Called Homedic support and all he said was bring it back to Costco....

Q & A

How do I use the essential oil pads

Asked by: Hannelore
The oil tray is located on the back of the humidifier in the lower left-hand area under the water tank. Push to open and remove the tray. Place 1 essential oil pad into the oil tray.Add 5-7 drops of essential oil to the pad. You may use more or less depending on personal preference. Place the oil tray back in its compartment and push to close. The scent will start automatically when the mist is turned on.

I have this homedics humidifier and I love. I’ve had it for a few months now, and for some reason it’s says in red “clean” and the # 1 above it. What does this mean if mine has a clean technology system?

Asked by: BryanC
TO CLEAN THE TANK Remove the water tank from the humidifier base by lifting it from the main unit. Unscrew the tank cap and rinse inside the tank with clean water. To remove any scale or build up, use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and lukewarm water to clean the inside of the tank. TO CLEAN THE ULTRASONIC MEMBRANE Empty, rinse and dry the ultrasonic membrane and the reservoir before refilling. Pour a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water on the surface of the ultrasonic membrane and in the reservoir, then soak for five minutes. Brush clean with a soft-bristle brush and rinse. After cleaning, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to reset the indicator. TO CLEAN THE SURFACE Clean the surface of the unit with a clean damp soft cloth as often as needed.

We clean the humidifier every week with vinegar and water. Recently the white circle membrane under the transducer cover has a black spot in the middle. Should we clean the unit differently? Is it still safe to use?

Is it really necessary to fill up both containers? Why can't just use 1?

Asked by: june1938
We recommend to fill both water tanks. For best results, we recommend using the humidifier as directed in the instruction book.

Have had for about a month, worked fine up until yesterday. Have refilled the water tanks, cleaned the sensors. All power is on and set to warm, has been on for 10 hours and no mist or water has left the tank. Currently not working for warm or cool mist.

Asked by: Alira
Remove the water tank from the base and turn the tank upside down. Press and release the spring loaded valve in the center of the tank cap (it looks like a button) about 15 - 20 times. Reseat the tank onto the base of the humidifier. If this does not resolve the issue, please return the humidifier to the place of purchase for a replacement or contact Consumer Relations at 1-800-466-3342 Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST for assistance.

Unit will not blow warm mist.  Mist output is satisfactory but it will blow only cool.

Asked by: MMills
When using the warm mist setting, you will feel a small temperature difference at the mist spout. The cloud of mist may still feel cool as the mist interacts with the air in the room. You may feel an increase of warmth in the room the humidifier is located in. The warm setting will not produce a mist as warm as a vaporizer mist.
