I would give this water system 5 stars, but my lid will not close. I have to set a half-a- gallon water jug on top of the lid to mash it down so my uv light can come on. other wise this is a great system.

I love this water filter system!!
It makes our awful city water both look and taste better. I especially wanted a system that utilized the UV light and this is it.
I'd like it in a larger system, such as a 5 gal bottle.

I'm just worried that being a clearance item, when the filters are sold out, that's it for my system too. Are ther any other filters that will fir this system ?!

We have a private well with possible seasonal issues. I had done much research on disinfection equipment for private wells and was considering options that ranged from a "pure" drinking water station to whole house chlorine disinfection. We had settled on the "do nothing" option until I saw this new product. Wow. I can not believe the traditional filter pitcher companies had not come up with this; a UV light in the pitcher to provide disinfection of bacteria. This is a great solution. While not the same removal of bacteria that a microbiological filter can provide, for the cost it is great peace of mind at a very cost effective price.

After using this filter system, my water (and coffee) taste remarkably better. I actually prefer this water to commercially filtered water (as it doesn't have a plastic aftertaste that the bottles of water often have).

I do love this product. It seem to filter water better than my other one (from the beginning the other one still left sediment in bottom of your drink of water).

The one problem I have--why can these companies not make a pitcher with a top that doesn't come flying off when you pour or bump it in the slightest way?
