Never having this kind of clock/radio before, I bought this over a year ago and just love it. Everything about it is really cool. I have not had any problems with it. I like the fact that it is rather slim and fits nicely on my small nightstand.

My husband and I received this as a gift. It was one of those things that I probably would not go out and buy for myself but since we began using it we have enjoyed it immensely. The numbers are BIG and easy to read for us older folks and the display on the ceiling makes it even easier to see. The
outside temperature reading is a plus and is very accurate. I love falling to sleep listening to the nature sounds (especially the ocean!). I recommend this as a gift for anyone on your list - it will be very well received.

Homedics thought of everything in this little easy-to-use machine! I love so many things about it - 2 separate alarms (great for 2 people, or I use one for weekdays and one for Sunday) - the outdoor temp is terrific for knowing how to dress in the morning - the time on the ceiling - radio is very good - nature sounds are very nice for background ambience. My ceiling light has stopped working and I haven't yet had it fixed because I don't want to be without it even one night!

This is the second SoundSpa we've owned, We returned the first one after a month of use because the projector quit working. Now the second clock, after about six months of use has a very dim backlight and again the projector is broken.

I use it primarily to get to sleep. When my grandchildren take naps it really helps them go to sleep faster. Radio reception is great.

I use this clock to gently wake me up in the morning rather than using the loud buzzer noise or radio option standard clocks have. Some of the sounds are also effective in helping you sleep (Summer Night sound esp.)The temperature readings are a plus and pretty accurate. I don't have to turn on the tv to see how cold it is in the morning - important if you've got to walk your dog at 5:30 am before work. I like the projection feature but don't use it too much. I'm used to looking straight at the clock if I wake up in the middle of the night - not at the wall or the ceiling. I don't think it's bright at all and don't even notice it when I'm asleep. The radio part of the clock is great too - clear, strong reception and I can pick up more stations than my [$]radio/dvd player. Sometimes I just listen to it when reading or just hanging out.The only reason it is "almost perfect" is the atomic time/clock feature. Even if you don't have it enabled it turns on. The first day I used the clock, the time did jump forward 2 hours. I resolved that problem by making sure I set the clock to my standard time zone as if I am using the atomic time function. That way the time stays accurate whether it shifts between manual time and atomic time throughout the day. I haven't had a problem ever since. Asides for that glitch, this is definitely the best clock I've ever had.

These are great little machines. They have saved me from my horrible upstairs neighbors who are VERY noisy. Their humidifier which they run all night long keeps me awake. But with this machine, it drowns out their noise so I can sleep. I like to use it even when there isn't noise because it's very soothing - especially the rain and waterfall. I highly recommend these little machines.

I really like knowing the temp. inside and outside without having to turn on the news. Also, having the option to illuminate the time is wonderful.
