I purchased the Homedics THERA|P BPA-300 Deluxe Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor in April 2007 to replace my agins blood pressure monitor. I bought this model based on Homedics claim that the DK technology would provide more accurate hypertension readings. Well, they were right. As soon as I read my bloop pressure with my new Homedics THERA|P, I realized that my blood pressure was actually higher than what my old blood pressure monitor was recording. The difference in accuracy was so significant that I went to my doctor to double check my BP and sure enough, the Homedics THERA|P BPA-300 was every bit as accurate as the blood pressure monitor my doctor used. The readings were right in line with each other. From that point on, it really gave me a lot of confidence in the BPA-300 with the DK technology and a lot of confidence in Homedics as a company. I believe in their product line because of my super-positive experience with the Homedics THERA|P blood pressure monitor. My suggestion to you is, if you really want to know what your blood pressure is running, then buy this unit! It will give the accuracy you deserve.
