My wife purchased this as a Christmas gift for me. I was recently hospitalized and need an accurate quality blood pressure monitor. I tried it a few times and thought the readings may be higher than my actual numbers had been. When my home health care nurse came by I had her check it the "old fashioned way" and then I put on the cuff and powered my monitor and it was right on!! I have had other Homedics products and they are all first rate quality.
