I bought this shortly after our baby was born. She is now 14 months old and we have this on every single night in her room. I truly believe it helps to keep her asleep and drowns out any other noises going on in the house, especially our big dog barking! Whenever we travel we take this with us because I believe it helps to soothe her when going to sleep in an unfamiliar place. I bought this product for myself hoping that it would drown out my husbands snoring and also replace the fan noice we have on during the summer months. The fan gets pretty cold in the winter months. It is awesome! I am a very light sleeper and this has helped so much! I use it when our grandchildren come and stay and it helps them sleep too! I bought this product for my husband as a Christmas gift. Sadly he passed away 5 days before Christmas and never got to use it. It sat wrapped in its box for a long time before I finally decided to open it and use it myself. I have used it every night since. I keep it on ocean sound and I sleep like a baby. My daughter bought me this and I use it every night on the rain sound, and I leave it on all night, it's like "white noise", and yesterday I bought navy blue floor lenghth drapes, and with the ceiling fan on, my husband and I slept until 8:30 a.m. and no pills!! I used to listen to a relaxation CD but when it was over, (and I knew when it was getting close to being over), it was quiet again and I'd wake up. Do to husbands job and retirement I recently had to re-locate for 1 year to a busy, busy city life in New Jersey from my horses, John Deere tractors, creeks, crickets, frogs, birds, dirt road country life in Michigan. I cover the bedroom windows with dark sheets and have been wearing ear plugs due to the traffic noise, people noise, firetruck and police sirens. My sister uses this Sound Spa to help her three young children get to sleep, so I decided to buy it one day when I was fed up with my noisy neighbors upstairs and the busy jacuzzi at the community pool.
