I've tried all of the Homedics hand-held portable massagers, and the Comet is both the most compact and effective. The so-called "Mini-Massager," with the 3 extended rubber-footed prongs, is more cumbersome to carry about, doesn't slide as efficiently over either outer clothing or on skin, and doesn't apply as much pressure on the areas that need it. The models with 4 instead of 3 feet are not only larger and more cumbersome but disperse rather than concentrate the pressure needed to feel the benefits of hitting the responsive acupressure points. The Homedics Comet succeeds a similar massager that was slightly wider and higher in dimensions but no more effective and certainly less ergonomic. Best to pick up several. My only problem with it thus far is figuring out how to access the battery compartment, which is why I'm at this site at the moment. (Posted on 6/4/08)

Saw it at the checkouts. Picked it up on a whim, and gave it to wife for Christmas. Love the style, color, and accents. Very handy to have about and around, and just to use. (Posted on 6/3/08)
