I have to say I do not have much money, and after trying one in a store promo I bought it as a Christmas present for myself (from my hubby!). This was when they first came out. Since then I've used it soooo much that I've worn out two and am on the third one. If they didn't perform as advertised I wouldn't still be so completely sold on this product. And it is definitely cheaper than chiropractic therapy. I have both MPS and fibromyalgia and had terrific headaches daily before using this....it definitely helps the muscle tightness. While on vacation the spa I visited had these for clients gettting a pedicure.
I didn't expect much but tried it anyway. What a great surprise. Definitely stimulated the chosen muscle area(s), heat felt great. Can't wait to get one for home.
One note: I'm only 5'1" so the total area met my needs. I wonder about a person with a longer back - if they would need a longer product to reach all areas. (Posted on 11/3/08)

It has helped me in my recovery process from a back injury. I have a sprained muscles in my entire back from my neck (Cervical) to lower back (Lumbar). It has helped me loosen muscles spasms and has relaxed my muscles tremendously. I use it daily, several times a day. I am still recovering and this product is great in place of an expensive massage therapist. I love it. IT IS A MUST HAVE. It is working wonders on my back. Overall, the SBM-300H is a great buy and a excellent companion for aching upper and lower back muscles as well as easy to use. Having received Shiatsu massages from professional massusses, this unit come impeccably close to the real thing and is worth every penny. If you have never experienced a Shiatsu massage, do yourself a favor and try it. Your body will be grateful for it. Nonetheless, if you cannot, this massager will suffice generously. Enjoy! I have chronic Myofascial Pain Syndrome, and this is the best to help me relieve the pain. It helps get the knots out of the muscles and works the trigger points. This does the same thing they basically do in physical therapy for me. Great machine. (Posted on 5/30/08)
