I rarely wright reviews, but here it goes. Last Memorial day I was in a dirt bike accident that broke 2 ribs my shoulder and my collar bone in 2 places so my wife purchased this unit when I started my therapy. I had constant issues and was in a lot of pain, so after a year of almost daily use it is still providing me with a great massage. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a need for a simple to use, not bulky, reliable product, I go into my doctor this month to take a look at my neck/shoulder and if and when this product fails I will definitely buy another.

My husband bought this pillow for me for back pain from my pregnancy,and I loved it while it worked but I only had it for a month and the gears inside sucked the fabric into them somehow and now it is a big knot of twisted fabric that we cannot undo and the gears wont move. I am going to return it today, I am disappointed.

I use this on my neck, shoulders and all the way down my back. I also discovered that it provides me with medical benefits. I have terrible restless leg syndrome. It is a syndrome where the legs, jerk, jump and twitch below the knee at bedtime. It feels like a dull hard electrical shock spasm. It always happens just about the time I am falling asleep. It keeps me up for HOURS. Last week it was so bad I had to get out of bed. I used the pillow under my legs from the ankle working up to under my knee. It felt so good buy also produced the cause of the trembling and jerking. sensation. After 20-30 minutes of massaging each leg I was able you go to bed with no problems. The massager seemed to work out. I went to bed and no more jerking. I have done this now for over 2 weeks and it works every time. I also use this on my tired feet as it does a better job that the foot massager. The bigger balls do some great deep kneading on all parts of the feet. I just bought the neck massager and am thinking about the $199 chair pad. This is one of the best products I have even purchased. It provides unbelievable relief, as good if not better than a massage and a great deal cheaper.

After receiving the massager as a Christmas present, I told my friend that of my ten favorite presents I have ever received -- this was number ONE, and I can't even remember what the other nine were!!

I received that gift several years ago, and it absolutely became a best friend. Anything that can take as much use and wear and tear as I have given it and still keep on functioning the way it has -- has my seal of approval. It gives a great deep tissue massage wherever I position it. At night, if I can't sleep, I just turn it on and rest my ankles on it (at an angle) and -- voila! an attentive and gentle ankle massage that sends me to sleep before the 20 minutes are up. It shuts itself off, so no worries.

I finally wore it out this morning -- but only because the mechanism got caught in the pillow material. The mechanism is still fine, but I ruined it with the way I have pushed on it so many times, so it is jammed up within the pillow. It was the operator--and not the machine--that went wrong!

I cannot say enough about the overall quality of this item except that I will be ordering another one soon!

I bought this pillow on a whim after coming across it in the store one day. I am so happy I bought it! This pillow is awesome for massaging your neck, base of your skull, traps, and upper shoulders. I get pretty bad tension headaches in these areas and this pillow really helps relax my muscles and control blood flow. I also get migraines and use this pillow on my temples and forehead (I lay on it so just one massager puts pressure on my temple at a time) . For the relief this pillow gives, I would have paid double what it cost (I paid $30). I've also occasionally used this pillow on my legs and lower back with equal success, it is very versatile. I don't really use the heat setting because it tends to heat up on its own with use. After letting friends try my pillow, at least five have purchased their own. Go buy one!

amazing Ive used it every day while I'm doing my homework for my college courses - it's the only thing that gets me through. I love the heat, and the massage works on my neck, shoulders, back, thighs, calves and feet - I want another one just in case this one wears out. I never want to be with out one, I have used this for hours and hours since I purchased it and it is still going strong. This is the best product that I have ever bought

I came on the site to buy the breathe air and I stumbled across the Shiatsu Pillow. Just let me just say OMG!!!!!!! I am a busy mother of three that works full time and I carry a lot of tension and stress in my neck, back and right between my shoulder blades. I have only had this pillow for about an hour and it is the best thing that I could have ever done for myself. The pressure is just perfect and it has made me feel like a new woman. This along with the fresh air of the breather air revitalizer is the best combination in the world.

I work 12 hour night shifts as an ER nurse, where I rarely get to sit down. I have had back and neck problems for years and received this pillow as a Christmas gift. It is BY FAR the best gift I have ever received!! After years of spending lots of time and money on chiropractors, massages, and other products that simply don't work, this thing has practically saved my life! My back feels better than it has in years. I highly recommend for everyone and if you need to find a gift for someone, they are sure to love this!

My husband got me this for Christmas and it is the best gift I ever received. I have a lot of neck and shoulder and upper back pain, and this massage pillow really is invaluable. I use it a couple of times each day, although I do have to put a towel over it so that the pressure isn't too intense. Maybe some people will like that real deep kneading, but it's a little too much for me without the towel. This pillow is also a great stress reducer. When I am stressed, or having a panic attack, I just put the pillow on the couch and lay back on it and close my eyes, and instantly I feel relief and comfort. The noise is not loud. It's actually quite soothing to me. I saw one review where the buyer said the fabric gets bunched up and he or she had to return two of them because of this. I find no problem with that whatsoever. I will never be without this product. If you are stressed and have a lot of pain in your neck and shoulders and back, this is wonderful -- believe me. Sometime I adjust the pillow behind my lower back and it works for that too. Thank you Homedics for this massage pillow. A lot of places were sold out of this pillow at Christmas time, so my husband bought it here. Maybe we could have gotten a lower price somewhere else, if on sale, but I would pay anything to have this pillow. Homedics shipped it promptly and securely. I could not be happier with our purchase of this.

This is really an amazing pillow! I've tried several types of massaging products. This one is, by far, the best one out there. It was pricier than some of the others. However, they didn't include the heat and kneading massage. Most of them are vibrating pillows. You can use this up and down your back. It provides, myself, instant relief. I get so relaxed, I could nod off! Definitely worth the purchase.

This is not the only massage item I have, however it is the only one that WORKS like it should. I always have tight shoulders, they are full of knots and the only thing that fixes them is deep tissue massage=lots of money on a constant basis.

If I seem to be rattling off it's because sitting with the pillow at the back of my neck and I'm so relaxed. I went to buy a new bed and another customer came asking for a Shiatsu pillow that he could use on his lower back. After discussing my mattress purchase I sat in the chair where the sample pillow was left by the customer. I tried it out and almost fell asleep in the store. The immediate relief to my back was amazing. The store representative gave me one for free when I purchased the bed. I was able to find the pillows at a discount online and I sent one to my mother, a cousin and my 2 favorite aunts.

This is the best gadget I've purchased in years!!!!!!

I have just started having a problem with back pain and now neck issues like never before. Pain so bad it sends what feels like electrical pulses from my neck/shoulder area down to my fingers and spasms like crazy. I am a mom of a very active toddler boy and of course all the housework never ends so needless to say tense muscles are going to happen.

I started going to a chiropractor and over $400.00 dollars and two months later still having this problem. So last night out of desperation knowing that I need massages, not adjustments, I started looking for something to purchase that would feel very much like muscle stripping. Which is what I need.

I found the reviews here and other places hard to ignore and went to buy one at my local drugstore. I really didn't want to spend that kind of money but hey I can't afford to spend more on the chiropractor.

Let me start by saying that this is worth every penny and it is so powerful I really didn't expect it to be so powerful. I used it several times last night and have used it twice today. It is amazing. I am sore from it actually, but my range of motion in my neck is greatly improved today and I will continue to treat myself with it. You can move it all around and turn it upside down and the heat is great. The little roller balls feel so good. It is very strong pressure so if you like that kind of massge then this is for you. The only thing I don't like is when it goes off after the 20 minutes. I dread that feeling of it stopping. But, you can just restart it. It feels almost sinful to be able to lay in your bed and not pay over and over for someone to make you feel this good. But, I am not going to feel to guilty over it.

As I lay there I think of all my friends and family that need this. I want to tell the world about it. It is fabulous.

Stop reading about it and go get it right now you won't regret it you need it!

Didnt plan on buying it. Had been looking for a foot massager then stumbled upon this gadget. I put my feet on it in the store and it was like a man with strong hands massage every ache and pain away.

Brought for 50.00...ran home. I used it on my back, neck, rear thighs and feet. 20 minytes later I am on this site registering it and recommending it to you!

Its wonderful! Between this and my CHi machine...I shoud be running up mountains shortly.

I've been suffering intense trapezius spasms in my right shoulder for about ten months now, due to a very stressful job in which I use the computer constantly. Chronic pain like this really affects your quality of life, your overall mood, everything. I've been getting deep-tissue massages on a regular basis, but they are expensive and not covered by our health insurance. Finally I'd resorted to wedging one of my husband's golf balls between my right shoulder blade and the back of my chair to ease the horrific knot of pain that I had there. I also had gone to my doctor about the pain and he prescribed a powerful anti-inflammatory pill along with a non-narcotic pain reliever. The pills did help, but I'm just not crazy about relying on them to feel better. A few weeks ago, my neighbor took pity on me and offered to let me borrow her own Shiatsu pillow for a few days. It worked wonderfully, and the massage heads got RIGHT into the area of my shoulder blade that was knotted up. So of course I had to buy one of my own. I feel better already--back to my old self again! I am very grateful for this product and would definitely recommend it. It's so much better than popping all kinds of pills to relieve your pain.

I work in an office in front of a computer every day. I had horrible pains in my neck and back that were seriously affecting my health and happiness. I tried massage therapy but it was too expensive, and I couldn't afford to do it often enough. I needed a massage every day and for long periods of time to loosen up the knots in my back. The homedics shiatsu pillow is amazing and loosen up the knots incredibly the first night. I have since been using it every night and I feel like a new person. OK, I'm the king of neck and shoulder tension, and I've gone through my share of Shiatsu machines. This one tops them all. Not only does it dig as deep as you want it to, but it's compact, portable, and entirely comfortable. AND it takes much less time to get relief than any other machine I've ever used...at less than the price of one session at a massage therapist. Thank you!!!

I have a chair massager and it's so bulky I rarely use it. This is exactly what I wanted. It's compact and so comfortable. I can use it on the couch or in my work chair, or wherever. In fact, I'm using it right now!

I love the heat feature too. I work at a computer all day (and a lot of the evenings) so being able to just set it to target one area is wonderful.

I am buying these for friends for Christmas. They're so inexpensive and well worth every penny.

I love the Shiatsu Pillow and I've tried lots of different massagers. Most of my tension is usually in the neck and shoulder area and this hits the spot. I love the deep kneading, but sometimes the pressure can leave you a little sore the following day, however, by adding a towel seems to relieve some of the pressure. I haven't needed to take my muscle relaxer before going to bed. A great buy for the money.

I've been suffering from Sub-Ocipital Headaches and neck/shoulder pain for months. I've been to the Chiropractor many times, but the pain keeps returning. I found this pillow and my Chiropractor HIGHLY recommended it, so I gave it a try. Well - it has FAR surpassed any expectations! I've even brought it to work so all my co-workers could feel how incredible this thing is. I feel EVERY computer/office worker should be entitled to have one of these - paid for by their employer - it would seriously reduce time off from neck and shoulder pain, as well as headache relief. It is just beyond words - the BEST BEST BEST product ever sold for massage!

I get tension headaches pretty frequently, sometimes turning into migranes. I've tried trips to the Chiropractor, relaxation CDs, and have used lots of tylenol, motrin and the like. I decided on this product because it will massage my neck and shoulders, where I carry my tension. I purchased this for myself after Christmas and LOVE IT! When I realize I'm getting too tense, I just plug it in and let it do the work. It relaxes my muscles and helps keep my headaches at bay! It really massages my neck and shoulders wonderfully. Plus, I can move it around and massage my entire back if I want.

I got this as a gift in consideration for the rock solid wall-like tension and knots in my back and shoulder muscles. This is the first automated massager that really digs in where I need it to, and all I have to do is plug it in and sit or lie against it. I love that I don't have to strain my arm and shoulder muscles in order to massage my other muscles. I can actually feel the kneading in my back where I usually feel very little. Love the auto shut-off and pre-warming features. My 88 year-old mother wants one now after using mine. She noticed it helped her stiff shoulder loosen up in one day. This is THE BEST massage I've ever gotten from a home product.

I bought this product last night to combat chronic neck and shoulder pain. Prior to purchasing, I read the reviews for various neck massagers and since this product received rave reviews I decided to give it a try. It is nothing short of amazing. I used it for the full 20 minutes on my neck, shoulder, & back and felt the pain and tension, melt away. A couple of months ago I actually bought a chair massager and returned it because it was too bulky, too hard, and did not reach my neck. This product is compact, has the right amount of pressure, and is perfect for the areas I need massaged most. I strongly recommend this product.

I used to use a handheld massager that never seemed to do the trick. then i bought one of the Shiatsu chair massagers and returned it for this Shiatsu Pillow. the chair massagers don't seem to hit all the spots (neck, shoulders, lower back) - with this, you can move it around just where you need it, for as long as you need it. i will use it every day! love it.

I bought this massager because my office chair was killing my back. I had problems with knotty shoulders before I was subjected to this "ergonomic" office "Chair." I just couldn't take it anymore, I couldn't concentrate, and it was too hard to knead my own muscles deep enough. THIS THING IS AMAZING!! I use it to death, so it gets really hot and shots off after a long time, but it kneads with deep pressure and feels GREAT. And, it wasn't too expensive and you can move it around to exactly where you need it. Plus, it's very quiet for the office. It's my new best friend! LOVE IT!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR!
