I purchased this this pad to go on my new pillow top mattress to keep it pristine. I want you to know, this is so soft and lofty. When I had family in for a visit, they called it the cloud. It might be a little pricey, but it can be washed and feels so comfortable and don't forget the Good Housekeeping Seal. I find you don't go wrong if you look for that seal.
