I received this as a gift from my brother, he says I'm always complaining about my neck. I have 3 plates in my neck from an auto accident and my muscles are like cement trying to protect it. I used this pillow last night and I was in complete relaxation mode!! My neck hasn't felt this good since the 1999 accident!! And it lasted all evening too!! I was able to get a good nights sleep with about a good 20 minute massage about an hour before I went to bed. This is day two and I used it this morning and feel great!! Now my wife wants one, lol, I have a feeling we're going to be fighting over who gets the pillow and when, lol, lol!!! I highly recommend getting one OR 2 to make every happy, hehehe.................

I don't know how they can call this an ultra plush pillow. There is not much soft area on this and cannot lie on it. I tried and it is painful. It is best used sitting up with the unit behind your back. I find this to work best that way. You can lay on it and rest your neck in the massage area, massaging the top of the shoulders at the same time. It works pretty good this way as well. I attempted to lay down and massage my back but it is too painful. Where the ultra plush is the company speaks of, I have no idea. Bottom line, good for the back; sitting position or laying your head down on the unit to massage the neck and top of the shoulders at the same time. I have degenerative disc disease of the lumbar and the cervical and this does help.

I have back pain that flares up ever so often from a disc I herniated 20 years ago.
The pain can be any where from mild soreness to being out of work for 2 to 3 days.

I have a flare up right now and missed two days of work this week. I decided to go out this morning and buy a new heating pad, when I seen this product. I decided to buy it and give it a try; what a great idea. This pillow is almost sinful, and I feel 10 fold better than I did this morning.

I giving this pillow a 4 out of 5 because of the following:
I like to see a better style for lumbar support (my pain is lower back) but you can use this any where on your back and neck. I have and it is wonderful.
Also, I would like to have seen power option for the car.
The other issue I don't like that it shuts off after 20 minutes.

However, I see other products on this site that fits what I said above, but, this was my only choice in the store.

Although this is day one of my purchase, I couldn't be more pleased.

This massage pillow is AMAZING! I have knots and muscles spasms in my back all the time from having misplaced ribs. I would go to the chiropractor and feel great for 24 hours then it would all come back. This pillow instantly takes the pain away and works out the knots. From the minute I started to use it, I felt relief! This is a must product for anyone with back pain!

Love this pillow, wonderful after a long day at the office. 1st kids to bed, 2nd hot shower, 3rd my massage pillow. Look forward to it every night.

I have severe sciatica which followed a horrid fall from an attic. Doctors did nothing but prescribe pills. I cannot live without this pillow. I bought it for shoulder, back and neck massages and it worked great. After the fall and 3 doctors I started using it on the back of my legs and calves. I even use it on the balls of my tired feet. It is a miracle how this pillow can take away pain and knots. I am now buying a second one so I can cover more territory quicker. I am also going to try the hand massager. I have lots of HoMedics products and love everyone of them. GREAT company.

I could put the pillow at any angle where I needed it. It stretched out my muscle spazums perfectly.
Felt like my physical theropists movements.
Love the 20 min auto shut down and the long cord.
Small enough to pack for trips.

I've had one for a couple of years......it finally wore out after daily (sometimes twice a day) use. I am in panic mode.......I need another ASAP! It WORKS out all the stress related tension in shoulders, neck and lower back.

This is a great little massager. It is just the right size and can get into those small tight spots that the bigger massagers cannot. Very easy to pack and take just about anywhere.

I've tried so many different massage cushions and pillows and this is by far the best. It really works the tension and soreness out of muscles. I use it for back, neck, shoulders, arms, legs, hands and feet. It's the perfect size for spot work and highly effective where most massage products fail to provide relief. A must have for anyone!
