Customer Reviews
3D Shiatsu Select Massage Pillow with Heat is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 77.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from I bought this out of I bought this out of desperation. I have gone through 2 of the previous style back massager (the rollers move in circles) over a 3 year period. I used them daily as did other members of my home until they were completely worn out. Needing a new massager, and this new style being all that was available, I decided to give it a try. I'm greatly disappointed! It is limited on the range of muscle tissue it covers during use. It's completely useless for shoulders. For a neck massage It's just OK. The old style could also be used for arms, legs and hands. I truly hate that I wasted money on this massager.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job....BUT.... If I were the designer of this product I would change a couple of things. The cord would come out at the bottom rather than the side. It is rather difficult to change the settings while using it. I would have the "buttons" on a separate cord with a hand held control. I added straps to the top binding so that I can adjust where I want it when using it without having to feel like a pretzel reaching behind my back to readjust. As far as the massage goes....It's amazing!! Every time I need a "thumb rub" my husband is at work and I can't reach it myself. This thing is awesome. If you suffer from computer/mouse muscle aches.....spend your money on this and you can use it as often as you want, rather than 1 massage at a parlor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprise! I am surprised this heated massage pillow works! I'm 6'3; 260 lbs and was doubtful this device would work the knots, relax my tight muscles, and open the spaces between my vertebrae. The heat works great, and the settings are such that you can have the shiatsu massage, with vibration and with heat. Not just good for the neck and shoulders....lower back, hips, butt and legs too! Trial and error, I can use it on the back in bed by putting a towel between the rollers and my back to soften the feel. Very happy a must buy. We both love it and she's petite!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I received my neck massager I received my neck massager yesterday; immediately put it to use. I have degenerative discs disease with cervical spine being worse. Plus fibromyalgia. The muscles, worse on left, are so tense and tight I can barely move my head when I first get out of bed. I set the massager on my upper neck and shoulder. The left muscle leading from shoulder into the base of my scalp was very painful. I could not believe how it zeroed in on the exact spot and loosened it up. So far It's great. I'm using it twice daily. Also on the lower back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It worked for about 7 It worked for about 7 weeks before the shiatsu massage balls froze in place.. The massager is relatively heavy, which makes it difficult to position. Moreover, it doesn't apply well for massaging the neck or shoulders. Based on results it is not made well. I would send it back under warranty if the return shipping was covered. However, I don't want to invest any more money into this overpriced item. I should review this item on Amazon (purchased through them) soon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bummed Just purchased my massage pillow this weekend. Loved it...for a couple of hours...and the the massage balls stopped moving. Vibrates and heats, but no movement. Suffering without it as the store I purchased it from is a half hour away and I am u able to get there during the week due to my work schedule and my son's school schedule. Hoping that this is not a common problem and that when I am able to replace it, they the issue doesn't occur again.

More relief than 6 weeks of traction treatment in rehab!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The HoMedicsґи_ґи_ 3D Shiatsu and Vibration Massage Pillow with Heat I bought this product because I have chronic back pain. It is very intense and works well. HoMedics could improve this product by adding a loop onto the pillow so you have something to hang onto when you are try to place the pillow on your back/neck in the spot that you want, its very heavy so it falls if you do not have the proper grip on the product. One more suggestion for the manufacturer is to reduce the noise level.

Q & A

Are the functions on the 3d massage pillow independent? For example, are the vibration, circular kneading, and in/out nodes on separate controls so that they can be operated separately? I have vertigo and may not want the vibration.

Asked by: Jon Wade Myers
yes! I didn't even know it had vibration until I was just pushing buttons. You can do shiatsu or vibration or both at the same time, the heat setting seems to be independent as well. I use it on my feet.
