I've been using this to secure a few things when I park at a trailhead in a remote area when I'll be gone on a bike ride or a hike for several hours. Since my car does not have a trunk, this simple little inexpensive box eliminates the worry that I've made things too easy for a crook, and lets me enjoy my outdoor activities a bit more.
