Really pleased with this little humidifier, though I don't use the Spa Sounds as I think my unit is actually for children, so the sounds don't really appeal to me.
Some people found it left a puddle of water around the base. This is probably due to the cap on the tank not being tight enough after filling it so when you flip it over it leaks out, or the humidity level is set too high so there's condensation building up around the base, or it's in need of a cleaning.
To help catch any water that might leak out or condensation build up from all my room units, I use a vinyl pet food mat with a lip around the edge under all the units. Those mats can really save your furniture.
It's so dry in Colorado that I have to run humidifiers almost year round in every room, though I only have them in the bedrooms and my office at present. In the dry times, they really help cut down on nosebleeds and static electricity.
Cleaning this unit is much easier than my larger units, so I may be replacing those other ones. I also like that it takes up less space, yet humidifies just as well.Overall - -JAE

- This is a followup to my previous question - I checked the water levels as well, tried it with full and half full; it doesn't make a difference - the motor still makes a weird whirring noise and no vapor is formed.
As I am still within the warranty period I would like for the unit to be repaired. However, what are other forms of "proof of purchase " I can provide other than the sales receipt (I have misplaced it)? - The product will need to be returned to the service center for replacement. Please provide a written statement as to when the product was purchased along with the actual product.

- Recently when I turn on the humidifier the motor gives off excessive noise like its under a lot of strain. There is hardly any vapor produced. Also, when I let it run one night, I saw a lot of water splashed near it the next morning.
This is a new unit - bought it 8 months ago but maybe used in for 2 months. I made sure the unit is placed on a level surface and clean it regularly with diluted vinegar. What could be the problem? - On page 11, the symptoms of excessive noise are a low water level or the unit is not level. Since you have made sure it is level, make sure it has enough water.
If you are seeing condensation around the unit, then we recommend turning down the humidity level. - Question asked by RT at 10/11/12 1:37 PM
