I have loved this for as long as I can remember. It soothes me in my little corner I retreat to and isn't intrusive. It works for me well. For the price, what more do you expect?
Buy it! About 8 years, I'm back to replace the submersible pump. I hope its still being made.Overall - -Ed

This fountain makes a big impact for its size. Its small footprint makes it perfect for use on a work desk or end table.
On it's own, the fountain doesn't create much of the trickling water sound as expected. In fact, aside from the pump there was no sound at all from the fountain. I found that by adjusting the angles at which the include river rocks lay against the "slate wall" I could fine tune a trickling sound into something more like what I was looking for.
A more natural looking finish (especially on the plastic base and surround) would make the product appear less "cheap nick-nackish"

I have this fountain and 3 others - this is nice but could be a bit nicer - once set up the sound and view is not what I had expected
