Scales - FAQs

How do I begin using my scale?

Start by placing the scale on a hard, flat surface. Carpeted or uneven floors will affect the accuracy of the scale's readings. If your scale is not digital, simply step on the scale to see the reading. If your scale is digital, lightly press on the scale ("0" will display across the LCD) and let off. This process will make sure that the scale is set and is ready for use. If you move the scale to another area of your home, repeat this process. Any other time, you can simply step straight on the scale to see your reading.

My scale is reading "( ERR0 )." What am I doing wrong?

Any time the scale gives you this message, it is unstable and unable to lock in a weight. Make sure the scale is sitting on a hard flat surface (no carpet or rugs) and that you are standing with both of your feet centered on the unit. If you are doing these two things, and the unit is still giving you this error message, it may need to be exchanged through Customer Service. Please visit our Contact Us page and let us know about the issue.

When I step on the scale more than once, I get a different reading each time. Why?

The scale will give inaccurate readings if you keep stepping on and off of the scale within a fifteen minute period. If you want to check your weight multiple times, please wait fifteen minutes between each reading. This allows the scale ample time to reset itself.
